Founded in 1910, the Carnegie Endowment is one of the oldest and most respected foreign and security policy think tanks in the world. The Carnegie family’s world-class experts cover many of the most pressing challenges facing Europe today, including cross-cutting issues from the crisis of democracy to technology and international affairs, as well as region-specific focus on Europe’s Eastern Neighbourhood, Turkey, Iran, Russia, and the Middle East.

Role within SHAPEDEM-EU

With the Carnegie network CEF has access to, CEF is uniquely positioned to contribute to this project. CEF leads Work Package 8, Dissemination and Outreach, to amplify the project's impact through Carnegie’s established multi-platform communication strategy including active use of social media. CEF will also contribute to the publishing of research results in a variety of formats including blogs, academic articles, and reports in order to translate the academic research into workable and practical recommendations.
