Role within SHAPEDEM-EU

Within the SHAPEDEM-EU project, JUK leads work within Work Package 5 EU Member States’ democracy support & democratic practices in the Eastern and Southern Neighbourhoods which undertakes a systematic mapping of selected EU Member States’ democracy support in the EU’s Eastern and Southern Neighborhoods, both at state level and by civil society actors. JUK researchers contribute also to other Work Packages – most notably Work Package 1 with conceptual frames of the project as well as to Work Package 4 mapping the EU’s democracy support practices and Work Package 6 analysing selected external actors’ role in democracy support. Kraków’s team also cooperates within Work Package 2 and Work Package 3 and participates in dissemination of the project results.
